Last month we discussed how important it is
to invest in your body. Many experts in the financial industry
will tell us to
spread our money into different investment opportunities
to build a diverse portfolio. The same method
should be applied to your body. In today’s fitness industry
this can be tough, every week you hear about the
newest fad in diet & exercise. which all work.
The question is
what is right for you?
The staff at Studio 4 Fitness are on a
mission to build anyone who is interested in the perfect fitness
portfolio,
a Fun, Challenging and Rewarding workout. It is most important
is to find activities that you will not only enjoy but also stimulate your
mind, your heart & muscles. Some activities focus more
on one than the others. Try to pick exercises
that make you use your brain: like tennis, golf,
martial arts or any functional exercises that work on balance.
Then cardiovascular
exercises such as biking, swimming or running. Add some
weight training that will keep you strong, so when were 100 years
old we
can still enjoy our lifestyle.
At Studio 4 Fitness
we’ve been doing this for years. Our
clients weight train, kick box, do pilates, yoga,
tai chi, run, bike, swim and do a ton of core & balance.
We are the Smith Barney & Merrill Lynch of Personal
Training. Each client gets one Trainer, plus a
Mentor who assess the clients likes & dislikes
then designs a program that includes numerous types of Exercise and
Diet. We continue to watch and modify each client and tweak the
program as necessary. We feel very strongly that
this is the best way to balance your body so you
can live a long happy healthy life and look good while doing
it.
We perform over 20+ consults a week and most
people that come
are missing one key ingredient in fitness. Some
do cardio but no weights or vice versa, some miss
the core and most miss the diet. You cannot get maximum results
without focusing on all areas; For example: do you know that
if you only do cardio – it is possible that
you are burning muscle which will make you gain
weight. Burning muscle will also make your bones weaken and will ultimately
lead to major complications in life.
